What is the truth worth to you?
What if the truth was something different than what you had desired? Would you let go of what was untrue? Could you take your eyes off of what captivates to that which convicts? What if truth, in making itself known to you required something more of you than what you first thought? Would you still submit to it?
With the promise of a peace that exceeds understanding, could you push aside what the world holds dear and consider instead the exceedingly greater value you have to Him? The Truth sought you out. Jesus came for you, died for you, defeated death and has promised to return to bring you home, if you would just turn your eyes and follow Him. Truth paid the price of our sin to reconcile us back to our Father, in full and forever.
